In addition to this blog I also post information which I think useful to the web in a number of other places.  You can see some of these in the siderbar to the right, under the ‘GeoGraphic on Social Networks’ heading.

I occasionally post maps which I have created to my Flickr account, of course much of my work is covered by client confidentiality, so doesn’t end up posted on the web at all. I have recently set up a Facebook page for GeoGraphic (please feel free to ‘like’ it by clicking here.)

I have also established an account on Posterous, which seems like a useful service for short blogposts and sharing on information.  My most recent post on there is a collection of links which Geo people might find interesting. I’ll see how that site goes, and may yet repost things from there onto here.

I am also active on Twitter. My ‘professional’ account is @GeoGraphicIE where I tweet about Geo, Maps, Data and other items that are of interest to me professionally. I also have a personal twitter account (@ManAboutCouch) where I tweet about everything else, including the occasional Geo item which I think will be of interest to the wider public.

The upshot of all of this activity? I am engaged in some personal brand building. My LinkedIn profile page has proven useful in that regard already. I want to get the word out there that if you need a map, or want to conduct some analysis of data then I am a person you should consider talking to. I would love to talk to you about how to put your data to effective use. At least my contact details should now be fairly easy to find!
